Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services (VN525)
Location: Redcar & Cleveland
Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £45,827.60 – £52,407.07 per annum
You will lead a new children’s residential unit, building a team from the ground up, shaping a positive and inclusive culture, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of autistic and/or neurodivergent children and young people. You’ll oversee the residential staff team, supporting children to access a range of activities both within our homes and in the wider community. The role requires enthusiasm, initiative, drive and resilience, and strong people‑centred communication, leadership and interpersonal skills to build positive, trusting relationships with children, families and external agencies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Significant experience in children’s residential care, including a supervisory role.
* Within the last five years, at least two years working in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
* At least one year in a role that required supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
* Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
* People‑centred attitude and a drive to make a positive difference to autistic and/or neurodivergent individuals.
