Are you an aspiring Health & Safety Officer with a NEBOSH General Certificate or similar looking to work for a large national company where you can hone your skills with potential progression as the company grows.
On offer is the chance to work for one of the UK's leading privately owned self-storage providers, a business that has doubled its workforce in just five years and excels in acquiring land and established sites before developing new-build storage facilities and large steel-frame extensions.
In this autonomous role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, providing comprehensive safety training to employees, and investigating and reporting incidents and accidents to ensure a safe working environment across the company. This role will require you be onsite 3 days out of 5 (8:00am-5:30pm)
This role would suit an aspiring Health & Safety Officer with a NEBOSH General Certificate or similar looking to progress into a long-term role.
The Role:
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Provide safety training and investigate incidents/accidents.
40-hour-per-week, Monday-Friday rota between 08:00 and 17:30 Nationwide travel three days out of five.
The person:
Health & Safety Officer or similar
NEBOSH General Certificate or similar
Full UK driving licence (Commutable to Newport)
