Inspire Resourcing Ltd are looking for a hands‑on Tool Room technician to join their client’s engineering team. If you love making things, fixing things, and figuring things out, this role will keep you busy in all the best ways. You’ll be building, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, jigs, fixtures, and components. If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and the satisfaction of creating something accurate and high‑quality, this is just the role for you. The Role: * Manual Machining: Using lathes, mills, and surface grinders to create precision components. * Tool TLC: Sharpen, repair, and maintain tooling so everything runs smoothly * Precision Inspection: Use micrometers, verniers, height gauges and more to check your work. * Creative Problem‑Solving: Work from drawings, sketches, or even verbal ideas to produce one‑off parts. * Independent Working: Manage your own workload, keep your space tidy, and take pride in your craft. Desired Skills for te Tool room Technician * Experience with manual machining (lathes, mills, grinders). * CNC operation skills - Fanuc/Prototrak experience is a bonus. * Confidence reading 2D and 3D engineering drawings. * A proactive, self‑driven attitude - someone who likes to get things done. * A passion for quality and precision.
