Our client, a highly regarded multidisciplinary construction consultancy, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in either their Guildford or London office. Senior Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 DOE Car Allowance 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Pension scheme APC Support Hybrid working Career progression Chance to become an Equity Partner Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Overview Deliver cost consultancy services on a range of projects, including feasibility, cost planning, procurement and post-contract duties Manage projects through pre- and post-contract stages under a variety of procurement routes and contract types (primarily JCT) Produce tender documentation, manage contract administration, variations and valuations Attend site meetings, liaise with clients and contractors, and monitor financial performance Provide technical guidance and mentor junior members of the team Assist with business development and support the preparation of fee proposals Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements Proven experience in a consultancy-based Quantity Surveying role Strong technical knowledge of construction cost management and contract administration MRICS (Highly Advantageous) Excellent communication, negotiation and reporting skills Strong client-facing ability and commercial awareness Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Office) Full UK driving licenceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
