We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a new, purpose-driven short breaks and respite, children's service based in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead a service that offers safe, nurturing, and supportive care to children who need it most.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home
* Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards
* Develop and embed a strong safeguarding culture
* Support and develop a committed staff team
* Ensure children receive high-quality, individualised care and support during short-term or crisis placements
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting
* A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
* Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
* Passionate about delivering therapeutic, child-centred care
