Overview
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our amazing supported living team based in Northallerton. Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays. A driver who can drive a manual car is preferable to meet the tenants’ active lifestyles. This role requires you to be a driver.
Are you a caring and enthusiastic person? A craft or music lover? If so, this could be the job for you. You will be supporting tenants to day centres, social activities and helping them live their best lives at home and in the community. We support three gentlemen with a learning disability who are good friends living in our supported living services in Northallerton. We are looking to grow our inclusive, knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly staff team.
Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to work across a range of different days and shift patterns, including some sleep-in shifts. Payment for sleep-ins is competitive and compliant with National Living Wage requirements. Your rota is prepared in advance, and your manager will try to accommodate special requests when possible.
