Salary: Up to £40,000, based on your skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a SHE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance across our business. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing professional and accurate SHE advice on legislation and company procedures, ensuring clarity and compliance.
* Conducting SHE audits and inspections in line with internal procedures and ISO 45001/14001 requirements.
* Investigating SHE accidents and incidents, producing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis.
* Supporting SHE workshops and training sessions, acting as the point of contact for our training portal.
* Assisting in the delivery of existing and new SHE management systems.
* Participating in and supporting wider SHE activities, including public and promotional events.
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Professional SHE qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or IEMA Foundation Certificate.
* Practical internal auditor skills (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Internal Auditor qualification is desirable).
* Sound knowledge of UK SHE legislation .
* Accident and incident investigation skills.
* Knowledge of contractual and legal requirements.
