Position: Teacher of English

Salary Scale: £120 - £320 per day
Contract Type: Full Time
GSL are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of English to support students in a secondary school setting. This role involves delivering high-quality English lessons and helping students develop strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and a passion for language and literature.
You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help students access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.

* Delivering engaging English lessons across a range of topics
* Supporting exam preparation and coursework development

As a Teacher of English, you will play a key role in supporting students’ academic progress and personal development. You will work closely with colleagues and other professionals to deliver high-quality teaching and create a positive learning environment that enables all students to succeed.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons
* Inspire students through engaging teaching of literature and language
* Prepare students for assessments and examinations
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and wider school
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
* Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and a love of learning
