We currently have a full time, permanent vacancy for a Social Worker within Foster Wales Swansea - Family and Friends Team, Child & Family Services.
You will be part of an innovative and dedicated Fostering and Permanency team focused on providing high quality support to children and families in need of support. The role includes carrying out assessments of Family and Friends carers, supervision and support of those approved carers, provision of support groups and training to carers as part of the team and involvement in the running of the team duty service. You will also provide support directly to children placed in Permanent placements.
You will be working within a stable and committed staff team who are highly focused upon working with kinship carers to keep children safe within their family unit wherever possible.
