PMO Programme Planner
Location: Bristol or Castle Donnington (Hybrid, 2 days in the office per week)

Our client, a leading organization in the utilities industry, is seeking a talented PMO Programme Planner to join their Future Capability Team. What You'll Do:
As a Programme Planner, you will be integral to the strategic planning and execution of research, development, and rollout programs. Your responsibilities will include:
Prioritization & Sequencing: Support activities to ensure that work programs are effectively prioritized and sequenced to deliver maximum benefits.
Project Governance: Assure acceptable governance of individual projects.
Performance Reporting: Report on project and roadmap performance, providing valuable insights to the team and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on project priorities, timelines, and resources.
Your Role in the Future Capability Team:
Gather and consolidate the status and forecast benefits of the project portfolio.
Assist in defining project resourcing strategies, optimizing resource allocation based on business priorities.
Maintain tools for tracking and reporting projects, including financials, deliverables, risks, and timelines.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall program delivery.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Proven experience in a programme planning or project management role within the utilities or energy sector, ideally in electricity distribution.
Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be equally considered.
Proficiency in Programme and Project Management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft applications.
