Salary: £27,040 - 27,040 per year Requirements: We are looking for female candidates who possess excellent communication and listening skills, as you will be supporting people who use various methods of communication. Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behavior is essential. You should have a good basic comprehension of the English language, including literacy and numerical skills at GCSE level or equivalent. We expect a commitment to your ongoing personal development and training. Responsibilities: In this role, you will encourage the individuals we support to participate in their chosen activities, which may involve assisting them within the community. You will coordinate scheduled activities by using personalized rotas and ensuring that facilitated activities and appointments are attended. Your responsibilities will also include supporting, prompting, and assisting individuals with their personal care while promoting independence wherever possible. Additionally, you will assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, and implement behavior management strategies when necessary. Technologies: Support More: We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to join our team, assisting adults with challenging behavior in a supportive and person-centered environment. You will play a key role in helping individuals develop life skills, engage with their community, and achieve their personal goals. Note that the people we support may exhibit challenging behavior; therefore, the ability to remain calm and level-headed in all situations is very advantageous. This position is full-time and permanent, with a pay rate of £13.00 per hour.
