Claremont Nursing Home is a warm and welcoming care home, committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care for our residents. We are currently looking for an organised and friendly Temporary Administrator to join our team to provide maternity cover. This role is key in supporting the smooth running of the home's administrative functions and ensuring a positive experience for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the home and management team
* Answer telephone and email enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
* Maintain accurate and confidential records, including resident files and staff documentation
* Assist with admissions, discharges, and general correspondence
* Support recruitment, onboarding and HR admin tasks as needed
* Greet visitors and contractors, ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures
* Liaise with head office and external agencies as required
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally within a care or healthcare setting)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
* A friendly, professional, and approachable manner
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour
