Job Purpose and Summary: Canon UK is seeking a H&S & Product Safety Specialist. This role is vital for ensuring the organisation operates safely, legally, and responsibly. It provides frameworks, expert guidance, and legislative insights to ensure compliance with legal obligations while safeguarding employee and stakeholder wellbeing. The role covers H&S responsibilities within The Bower, other UK offices, and UK CBS sites. It also provides cover for the H&S and Quality (ISO9001) responsibilities within the DP&S Service Organisation.

Key responsibilities:
* Support the establishment of company H&S objectives and develop management systems, policies, and documentation.
* Develop and distribute H&S and Quality information and reports for the board and AGM.
* Measure and report on H&S training effectiveness and awareness programs.
* Develop and implement H&S training needs analysis, deliver Fire Marshal training, and maintain H&S training (WorkRite).
* Manage ISO45001 and ISO9001 internal audits, represent Canon during external assessments, resolve non-conformance issues, and pursue improvements.
* Manage ISO9001 QMS framework, ensure certifications are maintained, and conduct risk assessments (e.g., Covid, occupational health, DSE).
* Manage health and safety legislation compliance, accident investigations, and legal registers.
* Chair H&S management review meetings and act as main contact for all H&S matters.
Key relationships: H&S responsible officers, team members, facilities, HR, external auditors, and certification bodies.
Performance measures: Accident statistics, training completion, audit results, certification status.
Personal specifications: Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO45001, NEBOSH certification, DSE assessor, auditing experience, valid driving license. Location: 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF. Salary up to £59,000.
