Summary One year position from June 29, 2026 - July 3, 2027 in which the Resident rotates through areas of learning focus, with the guidance of designated preceptors. Assumes a variety of clinical and distributive functions. The Pharmacist Resident will be responsible as a proactive health care team member, striving to identify, resolve and/or prevent potential and/or actual drug related problems. Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with PharmD. Minimum Work Experience Pharmacy related work experience throughout pharmacy school preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Vermont pharmacy license or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Recognizes and reports practice deviations to improve the medication system. Communication with pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and other health professionals (within the hospital and community) will be significant. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served. The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care may be gained through education, training or experience. Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
