Project Manager – West Midlands (Commercial Projects)
A well‑established fire protection company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee large commercial projects across the West Midlands, with some travel to Reading and Leeds. You’ll manage projects worth £1.5m+, taking responsibility from early planning stages through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full project lifecycle—from development to handover
* Create detailed project plans, budgets and scopes
* Visit sites 2–3 times per week to monitor progress and compliance
* Work closely with clients, contractors and internal teams
* Resolve issues quickly to maintain programme, budget and quality
* Produce regular progress and completion reports
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients
Requirements
* 3–4+ years’ Project Management experience
* Background in commercial construction (fire sprinkler experience a bonus)
* Strong site experience with good H&S knowledge
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full driving licence + valid CSCS
* SSSTS/SMSTS/NVQ Level 3+ desirable
