Working Hours: 4 on / 4 off, 2 days / 2 nights

The Role
As a Shift Engineering Supervisor, you'll take ownership of engineering performance across your shift - leading, supporting, and developing a team of skilled engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of priorities and actions.
* Attending and contributing to daily operational meetings.
* Overseeing breakdown response, prioritising engineering resources effectively to minimise downtime.
* Driving preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
* Leading and motivating your team - balancing people management (around 90% of the role) with hands-on technical support when required.
About You
* Proven experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills - able to coach, motivate and develop your team.
* Solid understanding of maintenance systems, reliability, and engineering processes.
* A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic production setting.
* Excellent communicator, capable of collaborating across departments and influencing outcomes.
