Walsall Council is looking for an enthusiastic Smokefree Engagement Officer to help deliver its ambitious Tobacco Control Plan. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of public health and community wellbeing, focusing on creating healthier, smokefree workplaces across Walsall. ? Key Responsibilities: Engage and collaborate with local businesses to promote smokefree environments. Provide advice and support to employers on enhancing smokefree workplace policies. Deliver training and guidance to staff to encourage smoking cessation. Actively promote local stop-smoking services. Prioritise outreach to workplaces where staff may be less likely to engage in traditional health improvement services.
