Admissions Officer - Blandford - Salary up to £35,000 We're working with a well-established and highly regarded education provider based in Blandford, who are looking to appoint an Admissions Officer to support their UK and international admissions activity. This is a varied, people-focused role that sits at the heart of the organisation, managing enquiries from first contact through to enrolment, while ensuring all admissions and visa processes are handled accurately and compliantly. The role is office-based, working 8.30am - 5pm, with occasional Saturday working (time off in lieu provided). Key Responsibilities Act as a key point of contact for admissions enquiries, ensuring a professional and positive experience throughout the applicant journey Manage and maintain accurate admissions records and databases Support UK and international admissions processes from enquiry through to arrival Coordinate visits, interviews, assessments, and admissions events Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new joiners Manage relationships with external agents and partners, including communications and documentation Support visa and immigration administration, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Prepare reports, data insights, and updates on admissions activity and trends Assist with planning admissions calendars, open events, and recruitment activity Provide general admissions and administrative support as required Previous Experience & Skills Previous experience in admissions, administration, recruitment, or a similar people-facing role Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders Experience working with databases and managing accurate records Ability to work to deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality This role would suit someone with previous experience working in education, or alternatively someone from a recruitment, lettings, or customer-focused background who is used to managing enquiries, coordinating processes, and working with multiple stakeholders. Experience supporting international applicants or compliance-led processes would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
