If you are excited by the above, we are seeking a process driven individual to join our dynamic team at Sauce Shop, as our Quality Assurance Manager. This role is one of the most important pivotal roles within the Technical and Operational areas of the business, ensuring we manufacture our product ethically, legally whilst meeting customer and BRC requirements

QA Manager Role at Sauce Shop

Lead and champion a collaborative food safety and quality culture across the site providing leadership and direction to the Operations and Supply Chain teams.

Support the business in driving continuous improvement and managing our greatest risks by challenging and validating our systems and processes.

Maintain positive customer relationships through the delivery of successful customer audits when requested

Lead on site standards and quality to ensure the site meets customer requirements.

Ensure that we have robust process and systems in place in relation to BRC, Customer Codes of Practice and Food Safety requirements

Lead
ership and management

* Lead the way in promoting cross functional working to make food safety and quality everyone's responsibility.
* Provide leadership to the business ensuring that food safety and quality is effective and continuously improved.
* Leads during product incidents/recalls.

Standards and compliance

· Drive a risk-based approach to managing food safety.

· Ensure compliance to customer policies, codes of practice and external certification.

* Set and ensure compliance to GMP and factory standards through training, education and validation
* Manage the internal audit program to drive continuous improvement in standards and quality.
* Drive RFT approach to manufacturing through learnings from NCRs and Food Safety Incidents
* Ensure incidents are managed effectively through effective data driven investigations with a clear understanding of root cause and implementation of sustainable actions.
* Ensure effective challenge on recalls and traceability
* Maintenance of QMS and FSQM to ensure all policies, procedures and work instructions are embedded, trained out and meet the requirements of BRC & retailer codes of practice.
* Day to day BRC and retailer audit management and actioning close outs from external auditors.
* Assisting external partners on close out of audits to ensure accreditation and customer requirements are met.
* Oversee allergen management & risk assessment, verification and validation
.
* Management of site standards, internal audits & GMP.
* Management of non-conformances & internal concessions
* Ensure effective investigation, communication and reporting of customer complaints
* Validating and verifying shelf life parameters for products launched to ensure that safety remains uncompromised and maximum life is maintained
* Stand over effective complaints management, communication and improvement plans

Quality systems and KPI's

* Ensure effective measuring, trending and reporting against internal and customer KPI's
* Ensure our QMS is maintained and evolved in line with central QMS, customer requirements, industry and technical advances.
* Develop and deliver the Quality Management Review process to the Senior Leadership

Customer

* Support on all customer visits & audits of a technical nature coordinating and collaborating across the site to ensure a successful outcome. Ensure roles and responsibilities within the team are clear
* Day to day BRC and retailer audit management, ensuring effective close out of non-conformances
* Work collaboratively to develop robust customer quality plans.
* Ensure customer complaints and queries are dealt with effectively.
* Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the commercial teams where required
