About the Role
Our care home, Ashlea Court in Ashgill, offers Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 86 residents. We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and make a positive impact on our residents' lives.
Responsibilities
* Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Accurately document care activities and observations.
* Lead and coordinate shift activities, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
* Oversee shift handovers for seamless care transition.
* Monitor residents' health, perform observations, and manage health needs.
* Administer medications following protocols.
* Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Support residents' independence and daily activities.
* Respond to feedback and prioritize resident well-being.
* Uphold dignity, respect, and promote engagement among residents.
* Maintain safety standards and promote nutrition and hydration.
* Act swiftly in emergencies and participate in reflective practices.
About You
* Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
* Passionate about care with a genuine dedication to residents' well-being.
* Excellent communication skills, warm, understanding, and patient demeanor.
Benefits and Details
* £20.28 per hour
* Full-time, 48 hours/week
* Pension, onsite parking, paid PVG, uniform provided
* 5.6 weeks annual leave (full-time)
* Location: Larkhall, Scotland
