We are recruiting on behalf of a large, reputable Facilities Management organisation to appoint an experienced Business Support Manager to lead the commercial and administrative function on a major, high-profile static site.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of a large-scale contract — acting as the commercial heartbeat of the operation and ensuring financial control, reporting accuracy, and administrative excellence across the board.
The Role
Reporting into senior contract leadership, you will lead a team of 4 Contract Support professionals while owning the financial and reporting processes that underpin contract performance.
You will ensure the contract runs smoothly from a commercial and administrative perspective, maintaining tight financial control and driving best-in-class organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
*
Full ownership of the contract P&L
*
Management of WIP (Work in Progress)
*
Raising and validating invoices across complex billing cycles
*
Minimising aged debt and ensuring strong cash flow performance
*
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*
Producing accurate and timely financial reports
Team Leadership
*
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 4 Contract Support administrators
*
Driving performance, accountability, and service excellence
*
Ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting and coordination
Operational & Commercial Coordination
*
Acting as the central point for commercial reporting and performance tracking
*
Supporting contract managers with data, analysis, and financial insight
*
Maintaining compliance documentation and audit readiness
*
Overseeing CAFM system accuracy and data integrity
