Our Edinburgh office is looking for an experienced, professional, and enthusiastic Qualified Senior Associate to join our audit team. Applicants must be either CA, ACA, or ACCA qualified and demonstrate a commercially minded and organized approach to client work.
You will become a key part of a growing team that provides a wide range of audit, advisory, and accounting services to diverse clients, including landed estates, charities, owner-managed businesses, and FCA-regulated entities.
Our Audit Senior Associates:
1. Project manage and drive the audit and accounting process, including liaising directly with senior individuals in clients' finance teams.
2. Take ownership of planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit engagements, working closely with managers and partners.
3. Have opportunities to influence the direction and management of the team, and participate in ad hoc projects such as department or firm-wide working groups and client advisory work.
Our Senior Associates often manage a small portfolio of jobs, aiding their career progression. With growth plans in place, we support your development and encourage further learning.

The Team
Our Edinburgh team offers tailored services, including accounting, audit and assurance, tax, corporate finance, and business advisory, supporting clients' personal and business affairs and wealth management.
The office houses 5 partners and over 60 staff, recently relocating to a modern, purpose-built space in November 2024, located in Haymarket Square with easy access to transport links.
You
The successful candidate will lead audits, supervise junior staff, and liaise with tax staff, partners, and clients. This role offers a variety of work for someone with solid technical skills and audit experience, seeking career growth in a fast-expanding office.
Qualifications and Skills:
* CA, ACA, or ACCA qualified
* Strong audit experience, including planning and completion
* Excellent communication skills
* Client-focused with commercial awareness
* Up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent standards
* Experience in managing, training, and mentoring staff
* Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive and a team player
