* A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to adapt support to the needs of individual students.
* Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and external specialists.
* An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
* A commitment to supporting inclusive education and helping children of all abilities succeed.

* Use behaviour management techniques such as positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies to help students regulate their emotions and behaviour in the classroom.
* Collaborate with class teachers to adapt lesson plans, providing differentiation and ensuring activities are inclusive for all students.
* Track and monitor student progress, adjusting support strategies where needed and ensuring individual learning goals are met.
* Encourage students' personal and social development, building confidence, independence, and resilience, particularly in students who experience social and emotional difficulties.
