Role Overview
From establishing safety arrangements to checking the quality of work, you’ll direct and inspire the success of a team involved in everything from inspection and faulting, through to maintenance and renewal.
Working Hours
This role involves days, nights and weekend working.
Responsibilities
Direct, organise and motivate a high‑performing team; ensure work is done efficiently to the highest standards; establish safety arrangements and maintain compliance; control and check quality of work; manage assets, vehicles, plant, tools, equipment and materials; compile vital reports.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
* Experience of organising and controlling safe and efficient delivery of work.
* Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
* Knowledge of discipline‑specific maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniques.
* Knowledge of relevant standards, procedures and instructions.
* Clear and inspirational leader with a strong sense of direction.
Desirable Criteria:
* Hold or be working towards an NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
* Able and willing to drive vehicles as required by business need.
