Is it your dream to live in London? This could be your chance! Our client is seeking a committed Locum Consultant who specialises in Gynaecology to give them a chance to live out their dream in a sought after location.
The post holder is expected to provide general Gynaecological care for example: Rapid Access Clinics, Ambulatory Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Diagnostic skills and Inpatient and Day Surgical Theatre lists.
The obstetrics and gynaecology department is busy with a full range of service being offered across two sites. There are currently 10 gynaecology beds, a dedicated gynaecology theatre and a day surgery unit based at the hospital. As well as providing general gynaecology, the service also supports special interests in gynaecological oncology, colposcopy, urodynamics, urogynaecology, infertility, assisted conception and a specialist menopause service.
The post holder must have the following:
•Registerable medical qualification
•MRCOG or equivalent
•RCOG accredited subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine or equivalent
•Full registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible for registration within six months of interview)
•Any UK trained applicants should also hold CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview
•Any non-UK trained applicants will be required to show evidence of equivalence to UK CCT
•Wide experience in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent.
•Training in ambulatory gynaecology
•Benign abdominal surgery: open and laparoscopic ATSM
