We are seeking
an ambitious, hard-working and creative Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Cader Lab at the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, University of Oxford. The successful candidate will contribute to an exciting, interdisciplinary programme developing next-generation human in vitro models of pain. The project aims to recreate the complex multicellular interactions that underlie chronic pain conditions such as neuropathic and osteoarthritis pain, using human iPSC-derived sensory neurons, vascular and immune components to produce an organoid systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated researcher with a background in stem cell biology, neuroscience, or pain biology to contribute to a high-impact, collaborative programme at the interface of cell biology, neurophysiology, and bioengineering. The position offers strong potential for scientific independence and career development, with opportunities to co-supervise students, present at international meetings, and contribute to publications and grant applications. This post is full time and fixed term for 34 months.
