We’re recruiting a Purchasing Assistant to join a well-established and supportive procurement team within a successful manufacturing business. This is a genuine opportunity to move from a general admin role into a career path with long-term potential no previous purchasing experience required, in fact what we need is someone with good old fashioned administrative skills who can work as part of a busy team taking on a variety of admin tasks.

What You'll Be Doing
* Raising and managing purchase orders
* Liaising with suppliers on lead times, availability, and pricing
* Ensuring stock and materials are ordered in line with project schedules
* Following up on deliveries and resolving any discrepancies
* Supporting procurement with general admin and system updates
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role
* Ideally from a manufacturing, construction, or commercial background
* Comfortable using systems, Excel, and email
* Confident working with numbers and managing deadlines
* A proactive, can-do approach and a willingness to learn
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a bonus, but not essential
