Job Opportunity: Technical Administrator
Location: Redgrave
About the Role: You will be reporting to the Technical Manager and assisting the Technical and Quality Team ensuring all processes and procedures are implemented and maintained, including the company’s internal audit program.
The person: You should have a keen eye for detail and quality. You should possess your own transport. An opportunity to join the Technical team with a chance to progress and grow within the department. This role will require both office and factory/shopfloor presence.
This role will consist of:
* Day-to-day administration tasks, including but not limited to:
o Documentation Control
o Maintenance and upkeep of site paperless solutions
o Tracking, reviewing and filing all relevant forms from suppliers (specifications, certifications, declarations, etc)
o Collection and filling of on-site documentation
o Development of standards to use on the line
* Reviewing, trending and reporting micro and hygiene results
* Organising, booking and recording the results of Samples sent off for Nutrition and other Chemistry based testing
* Maintaining the portal for the lab of choice
* Gathering and completing data for customer requests such as:
o Packaging information reporting
o Product, sourcing and other queries down the supply chain
* Assisting in the maintaining of supplier records to ensure continuous monitoring and compliance to standards, for example:
o Accreditations
o SAQs
o Allergen Questionnaires
o Non-Conformances
* To assist, run and present traceability and mass balance exercises
* To maintain, update and remove products on Brandbank
* To be an active member of the site’s Internal Audit team
* To assist with customer visits / audits as needed
* To monitor, track and trend relevant information such as non-compliances, audit performance, etc.
* Assisting in writing and implementing procedures and working instructions as directed by the Technical Manager
* To maintain stock levels of Technical issued equipment and tools
Salary: 28,753 per annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm. Over the seasonal period (November and December), some weekend working would be required alongside a longer shift.
Skills:
* Attention to detail
* Comfortable with Technology and Microsoft office suite
* Well organised individual
* Fluent in English
Training (preferred but can be arranged):
* Basic Microbiological Awareness
* HACCP Level 2
* Food Safety Level 2
* Internal Auditor Training
