The Role
To assist the Catering Manager with the preparation, cooking and presentation of all food, to consistently good standards
Main Duties for this role include
* Assists in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for sale in canteen and Starbucks.
* Ensures that food is prepared and served in accordance with Food Hygiene Procedures.
* Ensures that work area is maintained in a clean and hygienic state at all times.
* Adheres to the Hygiene, Health and Safety policies.
* As and when required by Catering Manager, carry out additional tasks concerned with the operation of the food service to students, staff and others.
* Assists in the preparation and serving of food for special functions and events as required.
* Demonstrates good standards of customer service.
* Provides food services to students, staff and others.
