Restaurant Manager – Ru
Ru is an exciting new Indian inspired restaurant opening this Summer, offering a fusion of Irish food with Indian flavour in a small 40-seater contemporary restaurant.
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join us on this exciting journey.
Located on Ann Street and open daily for lunch and dinner, Ru will be the first to open amongst a number of adjoining venues including a pub, cocktail bar and terrace, vinyl listening bar and club space in 2026.
The role
As Restaurant Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high service standards, smooth team co-ordination and the delivery of an outstanding dining experience.

What you’ll do:
* Take ownership of day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service flow, reservation management and seamless co-ordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
* Set and uphold exceptional service standards, handling customer feedback with professionalism, promptly and confidently resolving any issues that arise
* Staff recruitment, training and management to develop and motivate a team who are skilled, motivated and reflect the restaurant’s culture and standards
* Manage budgets, rotas, control labour costs and oversee stock levels to meet KPIs and maximise profitability and operational efficiency.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and licensing laws.
About you:
* At least 2-3 years’ restaurant management experience and able to make a quick impact establishing your own team in a fresh restaurant environment
* A people person who is great at growing and nurturing professional relationships
* Confident leader and communicator with strong organisational skills
* You’re enthusiastic and love bringing fresh ideas to the table
* You enjoy working in a place where things move quickly.
