Inspire the Next Generation of Scientists! Are you passionate about Biology and love sharing your knowledge? A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Biology Lecturer to join a welcoming college in Loughborough on a part-time, temporary basis.
Location: Loughborough
Contract: Part Time, Temporary (1.5 days)
Salary: £25–£30 per hour (including holiday pay)
You’ll be teaching Access to HE and T Level students, covering core science concepts like cells, structures, mitosis, genes, and more. If you have experience with Access to Health & Social Care or T Levels, that’s a big plus!
Responsibilities
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons
* Marking and tracking student progress
* Supporting learners on their academic journey
Qualifications
* A recognised Teaching Qualification
* A Biology or Science Qualification
* Minimum Level 2 in English & Maths
* Experience in Further or Higher Education
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
