Head Chef - About you
Experience in working within a high volume hotel/restaurant kitchen is essential
Previous experience working as Head Chef or Sous Chef ready for promotion
Keep cool, calm and collected in a fast paced kitchen
Experience of all day dining is desirable
A keen eye for detail, organisational skills, sound knowledge of relevant standard and regulations
Aim of the Head Chef role
As Head Chef, you will be a natural leader able to deal with the pressure of running a busy operation at The Dining Room throughout the full days service.
Key responsibilities of the Head Chef:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
Managing and developing the current chefs brigade
Working closely with the Executive Head Chef to exceed our guests culinary expectations
Controlling costs throughout the Kitchen while ensuring consistency of service
Take pride in continuing a respectful kitchen culture from this hands on position
