They are seeking an experienced Deputy Mechanical Engineer to support engineering operations within the Winsford Salt Mine. About the Role Working with continuous miners, loaders, and conveyor-based haulage systems, you will be responsible for supporting the Mechanical and Faceline Engineers in maintaining the statutory manning levels required to open the mine in a safe manner, to meet all planned and breakdown requirements. Key Responsibilities Continuous improvement of Safety and Health management Ensure that the statutory requirements under the Mine Managers Scheme of Maintenance are completed within the designated time frame and all results duly filed and recorded Maintain the statutory manning levels required to open the mine in a safe manner, to meet all planned and breakdown requirements Provide first line support to out of hours requests for assistance from the mechanical Technicians.
