This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fast growing professional services business who have scoped out their first IT Procurement Manager to join the business.
You'll report into the Group Head of Procurement who is building out the function in line with business growth, where you'll take ownership of all IT spend. Although this is a remote home based role, they are multiple offices all over the UK if ever you want to work out of there.
Role and responsibilities:
1. Create relevant category strategies through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savings
2. Develop category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local offices
3. Support the development of category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projects
4. Engage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledge
5. Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performance
