Eagle Overseas THE POSITION The Trainee Traffic Planner is support in the day-to-day operational logistics activities run effectively and efficiently. This will include dealing with customer queries and booking collections and deliveries. The Trainee Traffic Planner will work as part of a dynamic and growing team to deliver EOS suppliers and customers with an unrivalled service, and contribute to our growth and success. WHAT YOU WILL DO Ensuring the day-to-day operational Logistics activities run smoothly and efficiently. Plan & organise daily work schedule and routing for drivers & trailers Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently daily. Deal with any issues that arise, and problem solve effectively Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies Performs other duties and responsibilities when needed. Shift 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Excellent follow through skills, coupled with strong organizational skills and solid communication and interpersonal skills. Ready, willing, and able to deliver excellence independently or collaboratively. Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills DESIRABLE CRITERIA: Previous transport experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
