A leading food manufacturing organisation in the Cookstown area is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join its Sustainability team. Your new role
As Environmental Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring full environmentalpliance across the site while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Group Environmentalpliance Manager, you will develop and maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, manage internal audits and environmentalplaints, and support the creation and upkeep of SOPs. You will coordinate PPC permit requirements, liaise with pollution inspectors, prepare statutory reports, and lead quarterly environmentalpliance meetings. The role also involves managing water abstraction licences, trade effluent consents, wastepliance and nuisance issues such as odour and noise. You willplete weekly environmental walk arounds, oversee the Site Protection and Monitoring Programme, and support additional duties as required across the Sustainability function.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience and working knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
2. Excellentmunication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and levels
3. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
4. High attention to detail and strong proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word
5. Eligibility to work in the UK and be within reasonablemuting distance to Cookstown (no sponsorship available)
