JOB – Field Service Engineer
LOCATION – Southwest (lots of the work will be based around Devon/Cornwall area)
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer of consumer products. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the Southwest to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
* Experience working on electromechanical systems or similar equipment
* Hands‑on experience with maintenance, installation, commissioning, servicing and repair
* Strong experience with assembly and build
* Great communication and customer service skills
* Team player who is passionate about their work
* Flexible with working hours Monday‑Friday
* Happy to travel on a field basis and work alone
* Holds a full UK driving licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
* Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service, maintain and install equipment
* Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
* Training customers on how to use their equipment
* Developing strong relationships with customers
* Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
