We are seeking a dedicated and organised Senior Parts Advisor to join our John Deere Dealership team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing parts and inventory ensuring smooth operations within our workshop and an industry leading service level to our customers. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service and organisational efficiency, supporting the overall success of our business. Duties Assist our technicians and customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts, providing expert advice where necessary. Maintain accurate records of parts inventory. Process orders efficiently via phone and email and in person, ensuring excellent customer interaction. Manage stock levels, organise storage areas, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Support down time targets by ensuring parts are readily available for repairs and servicing. Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty parts professionally and accurately. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a parts advisory or customer service role within the automotive, agricultural or grass machinery industry is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or an equivalent parts management system. Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and professional phone etiquette. Knowledge of maintenance procedures or technical understanding related to vehicle, plant or other similar equipment is desirable. Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
