A Production Planner is required to join a recognised manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry, who supply a wide range of their components to some of the most recognised Aerospace names globally. As the Production Planner, you will be managing all production planning and MRP activities, along with the following responsibilities. Responsibilities Build relationships with customers to improve service Create plans to give awareness of sales plans, and to increase labour and equipment resources Work closely with the commercial team to manage customer order intake Resolve any issues that arise in relation to production planning within the supply chain Provide batch cards for the shop floor to ensure plans are adhering to OTIF (on time in full) requirements To be successful in the role of Production Planner you will have a background in a similar role in manufacturing and possess exceptional planning experience, as well as the following requirements Requirements Effective communication and methodical problem solving skills Previous experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing/ Production environment Aerospace experience desirable Negotiation and decision making skills Experience dealing with internal stakeholders Salary and Benefits for the Production Planner: This position is working 39 hours a week (Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30 and on Fridays 07:30-12:30).
