We are hiring for a Sector Analyst to support our work winning strategies and targeted sectors. Are you interested in researching construction project opportunities? In return we will support you with access to a variety of stakeholders, the tools to help you excel in the role and grow your sector knowledge and specialisms. Are you ready to work with a diverse and dynamic team of stakeholders to secure the next pipeline of multi-million-pound projects? If so, take a look at the duties below. Market Intelligence & Research Perform research on projects and clients to gather valuable insights and information using tools such as Barbour ABI, Salesforce and Introhive. Collate in-depth research on companies and contacts to support meetings with clients and consultants. Follow up and capture opportunities identified by in-house Sector Specialists. Collaborate with our in-house Sustainability team to map client and Laing O'Rourke sustainability policies and goals. Monitor government policies and attend seminars, on behalf of Sector Specialists to increase your sector knowledge, keeping up to date on key policy changes. Governance Support Work with Legal and Finance teams for due diligence and non-disclosure agreement information relevant to targets and sectors. Utilise Salesforce to capture information from leads and opportunities, reviewing and updating their progress. Carry out Gateway Application Portal (GAP) admin so it is ready for Gateway 1 (GW1) information info for the Sector Specialists. Supporting the upload of GW1, GW2 and authorisation approvals. Attend workload meetings with the Sector Specialist to capture any changes to opportunities. Aligning GW1 and Salesforce information, checking changes to opportunities, preparing background information prior to meetings. Request financial and reputational due diligence reports for circulation if required. The role will require you to attend weekly meetings with the Clients & Markets team along with business plan review.
