We are the South Cambridge Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT), providing 24/7 care for service users experiencing an acute mental health crisis, supporting them to stay in their own home rather than being admitted to hospital. Based in Cambridge, Essex, and Hertfordshire, we are seeking Senior Mental Health Practitioners to join our team. Whether you are a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker, we have opportunities for you. We are a true multidisciplinary team (MDT), where no profession's voice is louder than another. These roles offer excellent learning and development opportunities, including experience with diverse presentations and diagnoses, risk assessment, crisis management, and delivery of brief psychological interventions. You will collaborate with a range of clinicians to enhance your skills and understanding of mental health. Our staff are encouraged to develop professionally, with previous support provided for non-medical prescribing training, AMHP training, and psychological therapies. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will work within our MDT to provide dynamic, solution-focused care. Our team values diverse perspectives and works collaboratively with service users experiencing acute mental health episodes to develop supportive plans involving their families. Your responsibilities include visiting service users at home for assessments, planning and delivering interventions with the MDT, coordinating with other services, and managing inpatient beds to ensure smooth bed flow, which requires problem-solving and decision-making skills. Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is committed to high-quality, compassionate care to improve health and wellbeing, supporting individuals to lead fulfilling lives. Our services span inpatient, primary, and community settings, including mental and physical health, forensic and specialist mental health, learning disabilities, primary care, liaison psychiatry, substance misuse, social care, and research. * 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (dependent on NHS service)
* Pension scheme
* Full-time, part-time, or job share options
* Salary sacrifice scheme
* Staff discount scheme
* Professional leadership programs through NHS Academy
