Job Description
A growing construction contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join their team based on Hayling Island.
This is not a traditional, siloed role where someone only estimates or only manages the commercial elements of a project.
The business is looking for someone who wants to own the job from tender through to completion, working across multiple stages of the project lifecycle.
You will be part of a collaborative team within a growing business where people are trusted to take responsibility, contribute across the project and support delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and pricing tendersReviewing drawings and project specificationsSupporting the commercial management of projects once securedProducing valuations and managing variationsCost tracking and project financial reportingSupporting delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered efficientlyManaging projects through to final account
About You
Experience working as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial construction roleStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailComfortable working across both pre-construction and project deliveryAble to take ownership and manage responsibilities independentlySomeone who enjoys being involved in the full project lifecycle rather than a single function
