ABOUT YOU
As PAUT Level 3 Technician you will be based at our NDT site in Derby. You will provide technical support to the Site Services Department and will run and develop Phased Array UT and Contact UT for the business. To operate from our facility in Derby, UK and will also travel to support site services when required. Liaise with clients on technical issues and develop NDT procedures to meet their needs.
Required skills and experience:
1. Excellent communication skills Knowledge of client company activities and industry standards
2. Experience of the practical implementation of ISO17025/9001 as it relates to site services inspection.
3. Knowledge and experience of testing and assurance processes in various NDT disciplines
4. Full current driving licence
5. Have held level 2 PCN qualifications in PAUT and UT contact for 4+ years.
6. Other disciplines such as UTC, UTF, UTW, MT, PT would be advantageous.
7. Experience in testing carbon composites & novel materials preferred.

11. Keep Level 2 & 3 approvals up to date
12. Approval of techniques / data cards
13. Contract Review of paperwork
14. Raising of Technical Documentation
15. Training & over checking of staff & functional checks
16. Ensuring Calibration checks are carried out
17. Consumables ordering/logging and database updating
