About this Role
This role will provide a high quality, effective cleaning service to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The post requires working with cleaning equipment and products that contain chemicals, with protective clothing provided.
Working Hours
15 hours per week (Monday-Friday 3.15-6.15pm), term time only, including training days and 2 weeks per year (41 weeks per year). Permanent position. No travel required.
Salary
Dependent on current qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
* Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
* Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust.
* Empty bins and manage waste responsibly.
* Replenish supplies and report any issues or damages.
Qualifications / Expectations
* Hard‑working, dependable team player.
* Independent and takes ownership of tasks.
* Good organisational skills and ability to meet cleaning deadlines.
* Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
* Positive attitude.
* Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
* Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks in line with the school's safer recruitment policy.
