Calling All Musical Theatre Professionals
Stage & Screen Academy—a vibrant performing arts school based at Salford City Academy—is seeking a triple threat musical theatre teacher to join the team (singing, acting and dancing)
Requirements:
* Proficiency in teaching some vocal harmonies (nothing complicated as we do JR musicals)
* Confident piano/keyboard skills (minimum grade 5) - Mostly playing the tune, we don't need full accompaniment - We only do JR versions, so the singing parts are fairly simple
* Experience working with young performers aged 7–18
Requirements:
* Comfortable with teaching routines

* Enthusiastic, proactive, and inspiring
* Based in Manchester
* Holds a valid enhanced DBS check
* Previous experience working with other creatives putting on musicals
* Versatility in singing, acting and dancing to support various classes
Rehearsal Details
* When: Saturdays (term time)
* Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
* Where: Salford City Academy, Northfleet Road, Eccles, Manchester M30 7PQ
* £60 per session

Pay is £20/h dependant on experience.
If you are currently a student, we can offer work experience. If you've been a teaching assistant before (in musical theatre), we may be able to offer £13/h to assist the younger class.

Experience:
* Dancing (non professional accepted): 5 years (required)

* Piano Grade (5 and above) (preferred)
