What you’ll do on a typical day:
Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with the customer on site, consulting with logistic, manufacturing, Supply Chain, customer service teams & external storage providers
* Lead a team ensuring all are fully trained in all aspects of their roles
* Communicate all aspects of warehouse operation, promotions, targets, errors, and performance measures. Create a weekly customer pack and monthly updates with the teams on performance.
* Proactively control costs through ongoing planning, evaluation, and execution of effective and efficient operation in line with the customers’ needs and budget
* Drive CI initiatives and maintain H&S
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous warehouse operational management experience
* Able to interrogate WMS, ideally JDA
* Commercial acumen and drive to succeed
