Maintenance Engineer
Day Shift - 7am - 3.30pm
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (OTE £55k-£60k pa)
Location: Heathrow
We are currently recruiting Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the maintenance and servicing of automated and semi‑automated material handling systems primarily for the air cargo sector. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a mechanical and electrical fault‑finding background to work in a highly specialised air cargo environment. You'll be part of a close‑knit engineering team maintaining critical systems that support international logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and servicing on automated and semi‑automated material handling equipment
* Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical fault‑finding
* Respond to breakdowns and support continuous system availability
* Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately
* Work in full compliance with site safety procedures and operational standards
Requirements
* Level 2 City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) preferred
* Experience maintaining or servicing industrial or mechanical systems (advantageous)
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Good communication and reporting abilities
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Clean criminal record
* Minimum 5 years' checkable employment history (references required due to site clearance)
