About The Role
As a newly qualified nurse at HC-One, you will be supported to grow in your career with our Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme. This programme helps you build on your existing skills while practicing in a nurse-led environment.
You will make a difference to our residents at a vulnerable time in their lives, guiding and supporting them through life-changing decisions, which is a rewarding part of the role.
About you
You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number, committed to your profession according to NMC standards.
You should have a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge with colleagues, supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and professional behaviour are essential.
You will advocate for and deliver person-centred care to residents and their families.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You need to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what actions to take. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.
