Job Description
As Investment Operations Administrator, you will play a key in role in managing all aspects of investment administration, specifically around processing new business, ISA transfers, servicing requests, fee calculations and withdrawals. Daily duties consist of:
3. Ensuring the full investment administration lifecycle is delivered in accordance to company policy and procedure
4. Monitoring progress of new business through to completion, as well as receipt of funds and initial fees
5. Banking and allocation of client money, ensuring FCA guidelines are being met
6. Liaising with ceding ISA scheme providers to request ISA transfer monies
7. Processing investment/disinvestment instructions relating to new business, additional investments, reallocation and withdrawals
8. Carrying out all aspects of general investment and ISA administration
9. Competing fee and other complex calculations
10. Providing a timely, pro active and high quality services to clients at all times
11. Assisting with investigation of complex cases
12. Assisting with collating of information for regulatory reporting
13. Handling queries from clients, advisers and external service providers
14. Identifying risks and breaches
15. Processing complaints
The Successful Applicant
For the Investment Operations Administrator role, we are happy to look at graduates with a relevant degree, candidates who have financial services administration experience, or candidates who are working in an investment/wealth management environment. Key skills include:
16. Ability to work on your own and be self-motivated
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Excellent attention to detail and work to a high level of accuracy
19. Experience of relevant investment administration
20. Solid knowledge of investment processes and knowledge of ISAs ideally
21. Worked in a FCA regulated environment previously
22. Proficient with Microsoft Office packages
23. Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads
24. Strong team ethic
