Responsibilities
* Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety standards.
* Lead and supervise team members during shifts to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Deliver excellent customer service in line with Subway UK standards.
* Ensure compliance with UK food safety, health & hygiene, and allergen regulations.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation.
* Support the store manager with training, coaching and support of team members, including new starters.
* Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the store, including food preparation.
* Support stock control, deliveries and waste reduction.
* Open and close the store according to procedures and complete daily paperwork.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Excellent teamwork skills.
* Strong organisational and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced environments.
* Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.
* Comfortable with walking and standing during the majority of your shift.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in fast‑food, retail or hospitality environment preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
